Mario Diaz, known as IDIAZ is a Dominican Republic Native. He relocated to New York City in the 90’s and was immediately captivated by the city’s boundless creative energy. The work of Mr. IDIAZ encompasses a fusion of mixed acrylics, stencils, spray paints and resin. Through his skillful hands, seemingly mundane and lackluster objects are imbued with life, undergoing a metamorphosis into works of art. IDIAZ gives back to his community teaching art at a high school in the the Bronx.
